To all the merchants who were open...thank you...to all those who weren't...you missed out on a spectacular time. Santa was around town with 2 very festive elves who were engaged in raising funds for St. Judes Childrens hospital. They raised over $250.00 dollars which will be matched to become $500.00. Thanks Hardy Main Street and see ya all next year for an even MORE spectacular Holiday event.

What a great time was had by all during the third Friday event this December. The Main Street was lit like a fairy land and people strolled along and shopped in the stores. I was so delighted that the youth of our area are taking an interest in some old fashioned fun by strolling and singing Christmas Carols. The night was magical and wonderful and the children enjoyed themselves even though the wind picked up and it was quite brisk. Santa Claus did make an appearance to the delight of all. There were stores with snacks and some with full spreads. I purchased gifts that are unique to our shops on Main Street and I know that when the wrappings are gone by the way side and I hear that "where did you find this, it is perfect" comment I will be filled with joy to know that I found it right here in my Home Town. Merry Christmas everyone.
