Arkansas Celebrates It’s Septaquintaquinquecentennial
Okay for some that last word may be somewhat of a tongue twister..so instead we can just say it is Arkansas’s 175th Birthday! What is also exciting is that the State Tourism Director has announced a List of the Top 175 Places to Visit in Arkansas in Honor of State’s 175th Birthday.
This list was determined by activity and searches on Arkansas.com, and we encourage our website visitors to click and go to www.arkansas.com/175 and vote for their favorite destinations in the state. You get to vote for the ones you like and help the State determine the “best of Arkansas.” You will find our city listed under the HISTORIC SITES drop down tab.
City Of Hardy – Fix Your Website! – Please
Maybe its just me, but it seems that at the very least the City Of Hardy Arkanas’ website should, at a minimum, have a working CONTACT page. I have notified the city..numerous times in the past about this problem on their website and was told it would be fixed.
Today..I once again attempted to request information directly from the City Of Hardy’s website at the www.oldhardytown.net location I still get a submission form error that reads.

Spring Season is upon us…
Its now March 19th and the weather is delightful in Hardy Arkansas. We know that Spring is in the air as the flowers are beginning to pop, the trees are budding and Chico and Don Qualls are back on Main Street. Don and Chico have been a Hardy Main Street attraction for a number of years to the delight of locals, visitors and guests. Don and Chico will take you on a scenic ride around town and through Loeberg Park. There is no charge for the rides, instead one may make a donation to help offset Don’s personal expenses. Qualls says that he enjoys giving a ride to someone who remembers horse and buggy days or giving a ride to someone who has a disability just to see their face light up.
Why I Love Hardy…
So…here is what this particular area is all about. Here we can share our stories of Hardy and the lives we have had and continue to have. We can tell our tales of how, why and what brought us here and the love for Hardy that we all share.
I’ve had the priviledge of falling in love, running a great business and meeting great friends, watching seasons pass, leaves fall and meeting all the wonderful people who live and travel to and through Hardy. What a wonderful place to experience life. I love Hardy and I’m glad that I’m here.
