Main Street Hardy Arkansas Rocks this 3rd Friday
Hardy Arkansas’s Main Street was the place to be this December Shabbas Third Friday. Magical moments were everywhere. Many of the Main Street Merchants were open to guests and visitors this Holiday Friday evening. Lights, music, cookies, candy and warm friendliness were the order of the evening all throughout the town’s Main Street.
The Hardy Pottery Shop celebrates its 30th Christmas this year. Thank you Dale and Lianne for the great vibe you’ve created for so many years for so many people and Hardy Arkansas. Rhonda and Jerry and Kozey Candles served up some delicious cookies for the Main Street merchants this holiday weekend. The Cluttered Cupboard’s Betty and Bud were hanging out sharing THE best peanut brittle that I’ve ever had. It didn’t even stick to my teeth. Afterwords Cafe hosted live performace music in a living room setting and Creek Side Loft had its Christmas Thrid Friday Holiday Party and the parking lot was packed. The Silver Dragon, Garlic Rose and all the rest were were open and hopefully having as much fun as was occuring everywhere else.
Santa was spotted at the Ozark Classic Crafts Mall where a festive evening was in full swing. The Crafts Mall celebrates its 26th Christmas in a big way as it practices the spirit of Christmas all year long. Friends, guests and visitors found their way on the Yellow Brick Road where they were greeted with hugs and hand shakes. The food was outstanding, the cookies were divine, cakes luscious, and the cider was delicious. Santa greeted all the guests and many were spotted consulting with Santa in Santa’s living room in old Hardy photo Salon. Family portraits were taken with the jolly old Elf. Santa thought that Hardy was such a magical town and he had such a wonderful time at the Gazebo in Dr. Thompson Park last saturday during the parade that he wanted to stick around. Tonight he celebrated the Holidays in Hardy Arkansas. We thank everyone who wandered out and came to town this Third Friday evening.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night…

I just made it to town at the end of the evening and what better person to greet me at the door than Santa himself! I even got to enjoy some great deserts. Merry Christmas to all the merchants and residents in Hardy
This Elf trusts that everyone had a good Christmas holiday.
It was a disappointment that we could not find any homemade Christmas cookies this year. Everyone seems to have the same doughy, no-taste cookies; perhaps imported from China.
And, the best location for apple fritters has recently had their phone disconnected.
Finally, the best double chocolate doughnuts ever made are in La Crosse, Wisconsin; a bit far even for this die-hard chocolate lover.
You must have gone to the wrong store, I had some wonderful homemade cookies at the Craft Mall. Those chocolate chip/peanut butter cookies were MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Good !! Along with all the other great food and treats too!
Gary, so sorry that you didn’t wander into my shop. If you had, you would have found an 8′ table overflowing with cookies, cakes, and other home made snacks including hot mulled cider.
All of the cookie, cakes and candies were home made by friends and members of the Crafts Mall family. Please stop by next year for our 3rd Friday Christmas open house, I will personally see to it that you find all the home made (not China made) goodies.
