It was a beautiful day in Hardy along Main Street. Mother Nature decided not to rain on this parade to everyone’s delight including Santa and all his helpers. There was plenty to see and lots of candy for all the good little girls and boys.  Antique automobiles, animals, bands and decorated floats were some of the highlights of this years parade.

The parade started at City Hall and ended at the far end of town. It lasted well over an hour and Main Street was packed with onlookers and everyone had a delightful time.

We were at the parade it was wonderful, my kids loved watching and grabbing as much candy as they could get their hands on. We enjoyed checking out the stores after the parade too.!

  • Debbie:

The Christmas parade was wonderful, plus when I found the pictures on this site I realized I could send them as postcards to friends.. What a great idea!!

I have heard nothing but praises about this years parade. We were blessed as the rain held out long enough for everyone to get their floats back home and all the horses loaded. Santa was in the new ampitheater and was certainly a big hit with the Children and some of the adults as well. Mrs. Claus passed out candy and there was an elf that gave out christmas pencils. Everyone in the parade had such a good time which was evident by all the smiles. The tradition of the Hardy Christmas Parade is one of my favorite things. My family and I are so blessed to live in Hardy. I hope you all feel the same way. Happy Holidays to all.
