City Of Hardy Arkansas Official Site CLICK IMAGE TO GO TO SITE

The City of Hardy at it’s regular council meeting tonight launched the new “Official” city website. The new website address is www.cityofhardy.org which will be used to provide easy information to our citizens.  The website was designed by our very own marketing business and this websites founders through  Mashuga Marketing.

The city calendar and copies of minutes and other documents will be available on the website as well as providing a place for official public notices as well. The site will continue to add current and prior documents as they become available for posting. In addition, the new City of Hardy, Ar website will soon be streaming live the council meetings for easy viewing and reviewing online too! In addition, according to Mayor Jackson, the city will also be able to use its online site to post required Public Notices saving the city the cost of paying to have it placed as an ad in other area publications.

The new site according to Mashuga Marketing is self managed, meaning that the city will be able to easily add and update the site with information as it becomes available by its own office staff.

The Mayor of Hardy, Mayor Jackson said, “A big thanks to Mashuga Marketing for building this in such a short notice and working so diligently to make it user friendly. Transparency in the government is something I have preached about from day one and we will soon have all expenses, budgets, revenues, council minutes and ordinances in one location. We will have some big decisions on the agenda in the near future and this website will allow the public to get the whole picture before forming an opinion and my goal is to get insight on public opinion by getting the information out on the sight and using the back of the water bills for ballots every month.”

We look forward to seeing the new site grow and become a part of the community~!

FOHA has been waiting and hoping for this for over 7 years. We look forward to a more transparent government and having documents available online for easy reference. This is a great step in a positive direction. Just because Hardy, AR is a small town doesn’t mean it can’t present itself in a modern way with the internet and technology.
We understand LIVE STREAMING of City Council meetings is coming soon!
