Joseph Zink died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Kay; children, Jodi (Bob) Kendall and Chris (Amanda) Zink; father, Wilbur; a brother and two sisters; and five grandchildren. Funeral is 11 a.m. today at Spring River Baptist Church with arrangements by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
Francis “Doc” Jackson, 74, died Oct. 14, 2015. Survivors include sons, Jason (Joy) and Curtis (Candice); three brothers; two sisters; four grandchildren. Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christian Tabernacle at Wirth. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel at Highland.
Bob Stroud, 74, of Hardy, died Oct. 10. He had retired from Century Telephone. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel at Highland. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary; son, Jeff (Daralee)Stroud; two brothers; two sisters; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Keith Alan Mincemoyer, 66, of Hardy, Ark. departed this life peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side on Oct. 30, 2014 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark.
Mr. Mincemoyer was born on Nov. 29, 1947 in Rockford, Ill. the son of Frances Wilbert and Kathryn Elizabeth (Gibson) Mincemoyer. He married Sue Ann Frisk on Jan. 7, 1967 and to this union born a son, Todd of Seattle, Wash. and a daughter, Tammi of Hong Kong, SAR, China.
Natosha “Tosha” Alysse Goodman Brink, age 24, of Hardy died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 near Black Rock. A visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 from 5 until 8 p.m at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland. Arrangements by Tri- County Funeral Home of Highland.
Othelia (Tillie) Stark age 93 of Hardy, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at her residence. She was a long time antiques dealer in Hardy, she passed away in her sleep.
Before the antique store opened in the 80’s, Ms. Tillie was very famous for her home-made pies! Her large family of children, grand children and great grand children will be receiving all of her loving friends at the visitation at Tri-County Funeral Home on Saturday from 6pm – 8pm. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2pm at Tri County Funeral Home with the final interment at Baker Cemetery.
Hardy Police Chief Ernie Rose announced that no foul play was expected in the Feb. 2 death of Hardy resident Charles Hall.
The incident report obtained from the Hardy Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in Hardy by the victim’s brother regarding him being passed out over a steering wheel. When Rose arrived he noticed a vehicle sitting in the driveway, running, with the brake lights and heater on. He said the victim was slumped over and leaning to the right. After he discovered there was no pulse, Rose called the ambulance and coroner to the scene.
